English pattern pipe axe,
head only, wax cast steel

A replica of an English Pattern pipe axe head, commonly imported in the 18th and early 19th centuries and widely copied by American blacksmiths. Investment cast head in a mild steel, which can be hardened after finishing. Pipe bowl is hollow to make drilling your hole an easy task. Head has a overall length of 6-1/8".
